This is the question I ask my students before we dive into their work, whether it's in a playwriting or acting class. It starts a conversation, not a critique. In my work as a director and an Assistant Professor, I find that the most successful scripts aren't necessarily the ones that follow a rigid formula (inciting incident by page 10, etc.), but are the ones where the playwrights' intention is aligned with what is on the page.
That's the deep, academic, artist-centered philosophy I bring to my consultation, and I'm looking to help playwrights of all levels bridge the gap between their vision and the draft in front of them.

The Inquiry
Fill out the following form. (No need to attach your play yet.)
The Approval
If your project fits the current cycle, I'll send you an email with instructions and a link to secure your slot.
The Prep
You'll send me your play plus five questions you want me to keep in mind while I'm reading your script.
The Feedback
In 10-14 days, you'll receive a comprehensive response that will include the following:

I strive to make my rates accessible to playwrights of all levels, balancing affordability with valuing the time I spend on reading, thinking about, and writing feedback for each script.
Short play (less than 20 pages) - $50
One-Act Play (21-70 pages) - $85
Full-Length Play (71+ pages) - $130
Additionally, one review of a script of any length will be gifted for free every month, chosen by lottery, to increase access to quality feedback. If you are interested in this opportunity, just mention it in your inquiry.
